DMAIC

 The philosophical perspective of  Six Sigma views all work as processes that can be defined, measured, analyzed, improved, and controlled (DMAIC). Processes require inputs (x) and produce outputs (y). If you control the inputs, you will control the outputs. This is generally expressed as y = f(x).

 Deductive reasoning is a basic form of valid reasoning and is at the foundation of the Scientific Method. In deductive inference, we hold a theory and based on it, we make a prediction of its consequences. All theories are based on Lean process excellence principles.
